Anne Dorthe Tanderup

Anne Dorthe Tanderup, born the 24th of April 1972, is a former professional handball player who played for Brabrand, Hypobank and Viborg HK.

She debuted on the national team in February 1991 where she played 88 matches and scored 179 goals. She was for many years the captain for the National team.

During her time on the national team she won several medals.

Her biggest achievement was when she won a gold medal at the Olympic Games in 1996 in Atlanta.

She also won two gold medals at the European Championships in 1994 and two years later in 1996. Her last medal was when she won a gold medal at the World Championships in 1997.  The same year she had to stop her career becuase of a knee injury.
