Christina Nielsen is Denmark's best female racing driver. Christina was the first Danish woman to participate in the 24 hours Le Mans when she in 2016 was part of Team Formula Racing. She will return to Le Mans in 2017, which is one of her main goals for the season.
In 2016 Christina wrote history yet again when she won the IMSA championship 2016, and became the first female driver to win a major full-season international championship.
Christina Nielsen has always had blood in her veins; she is daugter of former racing driver and Le Mans contestant, Lars Erik Nielsen.
She was born in Hoersholm, Denmark, where she started her karting career in 2007. Three years later she made her debut in the Danish Formula Ford Championship.
Since 2010 she has raced in a lot of different high profile championships.
Besides racing she studies a bachelor degree in Marketing and Management Communication. Her main focus is to learn how to become one of the top drivers in the world of motorsport, but also the business side of racing is something she values. Her partners are just as much a part of her racing journey and she strives to do the perfect job on and off track for them as well.
