Mia Hundvin is a former handball player who was born in March 1977 in Bergen.
She played most of her career in Norway but in 2001 she came to Denmark and played for the Danish club Slagelse DT. During her three-year stay at Slagelse DT she won the Danish Championships and the EHF Cup.
After her stay in Slagelse DT she moved to Aalborg DH in 2003. Her stay at Aalborg DH was short, and she returned to Norway a year after and played four years in Nordstrand IF.
During her career she also played for the national team where she played 73 matches. She was a part of the national team who won the European Woman’s Handball Championships in 1988 and 1999. The year after in 2000 she won an Olympic bronze medal where she scored the winning goal against South Korea.
She ended her professional career in Nordstrand IF in 2008.
